Goodbye John Hughes

John Hughes died on August 6, 2009 of a heart attack. If you don't recognize the name, you'll certainly recognize his work as a writer, producer, and director. Here are a just a few of his credits:

Talk about a slew of classics! John Hughes was too young to go at 59. He will be missed.

  1. So many of these movies have had an impact on my youth and ultimately on my decision to go into filmmaking. He has left a lasting impression on cinema and inspired many. He will be missed.
